Danau Toba (Lake Toba)

Lake Toba is located in North Sumatra Province. Historically, Lake Toba was formed by a super volcano eruption (Wikipedia) about 73,000 to 75,000 years ago. Therefore, Lake Toba is also called the Lake Volcanic because of its history. Middle of the lake, there is a volcanic island known as Pulau Samosir (Samosir Island). Samosir Island is also formed by volcanic eruptions from the super. Long Lake with approximately 100 Kilometers to the width of about 30 Kilometers. Lake Toba is one of the largest lakes in the world. Around Lake Toba and Samosir Island scenery is very beautiful, you can climb up the beauty of the charter boats that are common in coastal lakes.
